Proposed deletion of This Is Folk Techno edit

The article This Is Folk Techno has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

does not meet WP:NALBUMS

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RadioFan (talk) 03:57, 2 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Logan Lynn (album) edit

A tag has been placed on Logan Lynn (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Orphaned non-free image File:Loganlynn3.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Loganlynn3.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:23, 17 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

Hello, Danielquasar. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Daniel Quasar, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Dawnbails (talk) 21:42, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

In specific: I reverted your removal of the Reception section and tagged it for POV. I do think the section is skewed more negatively, but with some work it'd suffice as a section, so I'll leave it tagged for now. Dawnbails (talk) 21:44, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hey @Dawnbails thanks for reaching out. I actually reached out to the editor who originally removed, edited and fleshed out that section because of my concern of the sections lack of neutrality. We both agreed that my concerns held merit and the removal was justified until more work on it could be done.
The information in this section is also mirrored on Rainbow flag (LGBT) which I feel is a more contextually appropriate place for it to reside. I disagree with having it on my page because my page is about my life and accomplishments and that section right now is just about the flag, speaks about another person in relation to the flag, and just feels inappropriate and negatively charged. (Which you do see as well in part)
Out of all the immense amount of praise articles and positive write-ups on the flag, that one negative article and a Castro District flyer smear campaign is enough to warrant such a level of spotlighting on my personal page is troublesome. The person who originally added in the edit before it became a fleshed out section is someone who has a conflict of interest as well. They admit to being a "close friend" to Gilbert Baker and there are connections to those flyers being referenced to another person connected to Gilbert Baker so I feel the addition itself was made with the sole purpose to further an agenda against me and should be removed. It should be viewed as a conflict of interest as well.
Should I have removed it myself? Per rules, no. But I did it to protect my own mental health and the toll this insignificant event has had on my life. I have a hard time not focusing on the smallest negative things as a neurodivergent person. It's a blip amongst a thousand things and seeing it on my personal article is detrimental, regardless of its so called merit. Let it live on the page that features my flag, not on me personally.
Sorry if I sound flippant, I am not intending to, I just have a hard time trying to convey my thoughts and feelings. I know you're just trying to uphold procedures and there is nothing wrong with that. I implore you to consider what I said above about letting it live on the Rainbow flag article alone, where it's already mirrored. If I were to have a reception section, it should be reception about me, not sole something I have made.
Thanks for listening to my rambling... Daniel Quasar Speak 11:51, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I appreciate the quick response on your part; I've reviewed the Rainbow flag article and it pretty much reiterates what is said on your article. I've gone ahead and removed the section. Dawnbails (talk) 03:04, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you @Dawnbails I appreciate you more than you know. 🙏 Daniel Quasar Speak 11:35, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
