Your question

I noticed your question on the article I just deleted. Wikipedia is not the appropriate place for an "About Us" style page, and such are inherently promotional. Your project's website or the like would be the place for something like that. Subjects of Wikipedia articles must be notable; that is, covered reasonably extensively in multiple sources which are reliable and independent of the subject. If your project hasn't yet reached that point, it is not an appropriate article topic. If you have any other questions, you're welcome to either ask me or at the teahouse.
