Requesting protection

I am that IP who vandalises My Magic Pet Morphle. Well, I decided to stop. So to enforce that, can I protect the page, for a reasonable amount of time, since I do not wish to cause a hard time? 173.225.243.170 (talk) 21:03, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

How exactly is Nick Jr. GENDERSWAPPED!!!! inappropriate?

Publik Khatulistiwa TV moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Publik Khatulistiwa TV, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Proposed deletion of File:Zombiedumb Early Characters.png

edit

The file File:Zombiedumb Early Characters.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned, claim of own work is probably invalid, as it appears to be a screenshot of a copyrighted video.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Requesting help with the Blippi draft page

edit

Hi, I just put up a draft of a new Wikipedia article about Blippi the children's TV show. I am contacting you because you have been so helpful in the past with other children's programming articles for which I have made edit requests. I am hoping you will examine the draft, make any needed corrections, additions, and/or suggestions, and then put the draft into Wikipedia mainspace. I sincerely thank you and am grateful for all your help. Eloise Moonbug (talk) 11:29, 1 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi DanishtD, I see you made some edits to Wikipedia article about Blippi and I thank you. I believe the draft is now ready for mainspace, if the article is okay with you. I would really appreciate it if you could move it there. Thanks so much. Eloise Moonbug (talk) 11:37, 15 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Eloise Moonbug:: Okay, but I have added the Template:Db-move notice template at the page Blippi, where it originally redirects to Stevin John. Also, I replaced instances of links to Blippi with [[Stevin John|Blippi]] instead of [[Blippi]] to avoid redlinks. After the Blippi page deleted, I can move your subpage to that name with leisurely. DanishtD (talk) 12:51, 15 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Edit: It seems that someone removed the speedy deletion template on the Blippi page. DanishtD (talk) 14:07, 15 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hello, and thanks for your efforts to get the Blippi draft to mainspace. I see that your request to speedy delete the Blippi page did not work because the editor believed the draft was too promotional. I think it is OK now to try again, because I removed all the content that looked promotional, so I hope this time the move will work. Thanks so much, Eloise Moonbug (talk) 09:12, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Eloise Moonbug: In one time, I will re-add the same speedy deletion template, but with different rationale. DanishtD (talk) 10:02, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Update to @Eloise Moonbug: The Blippi page is now deleted and I moved your draft into mainspace (see this page here). :) DanishtD (talk) 14:36, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

The reason the logo and name did not display was because they were wiped out by blank duplicate parameters at the bottom of the code. I've fixed this by migrating the whole infobox to {{Infobox television channel}}. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 02:20, 6 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Re;[1]

edit

This edit was very irresponsible. Did the source cited support the content? When we make statements regarding crimes and other misdeeds there must be a preponderance of support for the content. You should self revert or bring sources that can support what you restored. Tiderolls 03:51, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Tide rolls: What I do is justifiable. You doing this because the text is actually unexpanded so you reverting those. Because of this, I will revert your removal of the text and also I will edit that. DanishtD (talk) 05:10, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Incorrect. What you are doing is edit warring to reintroduce a WP:BLP violation. This action is jeopardizing your editing privilege. Tiderolls 11:51, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Tide rolls: No, I say again that I doing is right. First, I just expanding the text after the revert, so you can verify that. This is not an edit warring. Second, the topic is about her corruption cases, not wholly focusing to the president director Sumita Tobing. Why you judging me while you ultimately starting the conflict with me due to being misunderstood? (no need to answer this.) DanishtD (talk) 12:23, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Your edit states the individual was arrested. The source does not say that. In fact, the source says it's not clear whether the individual was a suspect or a witness. That is a violation of WP:BLP. You are edit warring because you are insisting on your version of the article without having consensus to do so. If you do not self revert I will have to bring this matter before a notice board to bring more eyes to the problem. Tiderolls 13:15, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
That the news source by Kompas, including some other sources, in the controversy section of page TVRI about the Tobing's arrestment is not in English, but in Indonesian. The source also include the word penangkapan for "arrestment". It is likely there is no English-language counterparts of the news about the arrestment of Tobing, so I do not found the English ones. This is why you said that the news not saying the word "arrestment", but in fact the word is said in a foreign language. DanishtD (talk) 13:46, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Letting you know I've started a discussion at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard#TVRI. Tiderolls 14:26, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • Glad everything has worked out here. DanishtD, the issue wasn't that your statement was incorrect (you were absolutely right about what happened). That said, if we're making statements about living people in Wikipedia that are clearly negative (such as that someone was arrested for corruption), we need to have VERY good sources that support exactly what we're saying. So, if something like this happens again, and your edit is reverted, please discuss what the text should be and reach a resolution, before adding anything back to the article, so that what gets published in the article is immediately correct. Thanks! BubbaJoe123456 (talk) 14:55, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
