Speedy deletion nomination of Elliot Fletcher

edit

A tag has been placed on Elliot Fletcher requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- BigDom 09:10, 15 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Experienced...

edit

... look, clear something up for me will you? You say you are an experienced editor, but you have only contributed to one article and have made some posts on my talk page. If you are experienced, can you confirm if you are editing under multiple accounts? If so, could I suggest that you declare those accounts so we at least know about them? Thanks. - Tbsdy (formerly Ta bu shi da yu) talk 14:45, 15 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Where did I say I was experienced? and why is my experience being investigated?Dancer0889 (talk) 15:19, 15 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Here. I just want some clarification, regardless of what happens to that article. - Tbsdy (formerly Ta bu shi da yu) talk 15:21, 15 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'm afraid that all i've said is that you shouldn't assume my inexperience. Not once have I made any claim to what my actual experience is. My contributions should also not be used as an indication of my experience as you will only be able to see my contributions to Wikipedia and not to any other MediaWiki wiki which, considering MediaWiki is free and open-source, is an ever expanding list of public and private websites. Any patches that I have submitted to MediaWiki would also demonstrate an intimate knowledge of the application. These are all indicators, which you do not have and as a result are giving you an inaccurate depiction of my experience. Now I ask you again why are you going to the trouble of investigating(inaccurately) my experience, and what relevance does it have on anything whatsoever?Dancer0889 (talk) 16:12, 15 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
No relevance at all to the deletion decision. I was just checking as we don't allow editors to use multiple accounts, so I thought I'd ask you directly. I haven't done any investigations, I merely asked you a question. Anyhow, as I say, WP:DRV is the place to go for deletion review. - Tbsdy (formerly Ta bu shi da yu) talk 18:14, 15 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
