Space Opera edit

Hi, I noticed your (cited!) addition to Space Opera. It messed up the grammar slightly (McAuley still reffered to "himself"), so i wanted to recast it slightly. But i don't have the reference, so can you tell me if the 3 newly added authors are mentioned in the Levy article? If so i'll split the sentence up to McAuley named xxx(c) and yyy(c), while Levy included zzz(c) and aaa.(c)

Using the citation for each author dissuades drive by additions of peoples favourite authors, which would otherwise look like they came from the already-present cite. Let me know, and i'll make the changes.Yobmod (talk) 09:21, 22 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

re: Requesting Your Help edit

Hello. I'm afraid it isn't possible to merge accounts (I have some edits under another user name myself.) The best remedy would be to redirect the user page of the other account to this one. In that case if anyone follows that user name from the page history, they will automatically end up your real user page. Regards, —Ruud 22:53, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Walt Simonson edit

Just wanted to take the time to drop you a quick note to point out your typo to you so you realize the mistake and hopefully don't repeat it again in the future. Drop me a line on my talk page if you have any questions, otherwise have a good day. Spidey104 15:30, 8 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mike Harris (comics), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Daredevil (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). November 2014 edit

Your recent edit to Mackinac Island appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. My Problem with Wikipedia edit

I disagree with the deletion of my Wikipedia article on Flora Warren Seymour. That disagreement has left a sour taste and has largely stopped me from wanting to participate further in anything to do with Wikipedia.DanQuigley 15:50, 18 December 2019 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Star Wars books, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Archie Goodwin (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Harry Steeger interview edit

Hi -- I saw you cited a Nils Hardin interview with Harry Steeger in Windy City Pulp Stories #11. Can you tell me if that's a reprint of the 1977 Xenophile fanzine interview Hardin did with Steeger? If so that would be very useful; I've been citing the original fanzine but a book publication would be preferable to make it clearer that it's a reliable source. Thanks. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 02:21, 5 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yes, Mike. The article you cite is the original source. I only have access to the reprint of it that appears in Pulp Stories #11, ISBN 9781884449093. It's an absolutely fascinating article. More info from it ought to be in Steeger's Wikipedia page. I just didn't take the time. Probably botched my citation up something fierce too. Thanks for asking! DanQuigley 00:48, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
Yes, it has a ton of information! I've cited it a few times, but it's good to know it's in Pulp Stories; that makes it a bit easier to convince folks this is a reliable source. I'm working on Argosy (magazine) and the moment but I don't think there's much in it about that. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 03:26, 17 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
