Thanks for your comment. I did provide two sources, one of which is titled, "Pritchard will remain Stanford starter at quarterback" and which begins "Tavita Pritchard's magical fourth quarter in Saturday's 24-23 upset of then-No. 2 USC 'has earned the Stanford quarterback a starting job', Coach Jim Harbaugh said after practice Tuesday." That seems pretty clear: Ostrander was the starter at the beginning of the season, but now he's not, even though he's well enough to play. In that same article, Ostrander himself acknowledges the demotion: "Ostrander, who had spent three years as Trent Edwards' backup, described the demotion as rough." I have nothing against T.C., but the fact is that he's not the starter at this point. Of course that may change.
