I took a look. The information is all good (I presume he's sorted his big table formatting issues by now), but I did wonder whether the ratio of info to list, and the fact that it's actually four lists - list of local government electoral wards by local administrative authority by parliamentary constituency - with a list of sitting MPs thrown in for free - actually mean that the article has turned into Hertfordshire (democratic structure) or something similar.--Elen of the Roads (talk) 12:11, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Knock knock
Who's there? Or is that a creative way of alerting me to the discussion at the one FLC? If it is, rest assured that I'll try to get to it later tonight (college assignment pending). If not, I didn't understand that comment (RFA-related in some way?) Giants2008 (27 and counting) 00:04, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
- Nope, just a friendly tap on the window ;) Carry on. Dabomb87 (talk) 00:06, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Just curious...
...as to the reason behind this edit of yours. Is there a policy regarding use of the template that I missed? Regards, SBC-YPR (talk) 08:30, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
- All of the Featured article reviews are transcluded onto WP:FAR; using templates such as {{done}} burdens the template limits and slows down the load time. Dabomb87 (talk) 00:27, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

... for that. You see anything you think I need to look at? I'm currently doing my best to review every list up there at the moment, without getting toooo involved so I can close them if required. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:37, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reviews! As far as I can tell, only two really need reviews:
- Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of Oslo Metro lines/archive1
- Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of songs in DJ Hero/archive1 (video game lists never get enough input).
- Looking ahead though, Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of Australian Open Men's Singles champions/archive1 and Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/Madonna singles discography/archive1 will probably need eyes too. Cheers, Dabomb87 (talk) 18:47, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- DJ Hero is done, I'll get to the Oslo one now. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:48, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
List of South African women Test cricketers
That's fine. I was going to support anyway. Need to start coming to FLC earlier in the day, I guess. Giants2008 (27 and counting) 19:01, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- Just struck the oppose at the venues list until I get a chance to read it further. Giants2008 (27 and counting) 19:09, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
The Chinese Restaurant
I'm sorry, but I had already contacted Karanacs, look at his talk page, I just figured I did not have to send him a message that the FAC had been renewed.--Music26/11 10:50, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
- Noted (by the way, Karanacs is a she). However, it wasn't just whom you contacted (or didn't contact), but the wording of your message: "Hi, would you be kind enough to support again on my "The Chinese Restaurant" article? It was archived way to early :S. Thank you." Reviewers have no obligation to support again (they could have changed their opinion after reading other peoples' comments), and saying "it was archived way to early" implies that there was nothing wrong with the article, and that the process or closing delegate was in error rather than the article. Dabomb87 (talk) 17:38, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I kinda believe that. Editors were free to support or oppose, my message doesn't force one to support, it is a kind request. But frankly, I don't really get the point of this discussion. What's done is done, I do not wish you to build a grudge against me and I don't want to build a grudge against you.--Music26/11 18:31, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
- Right. I definitely do not hold a grudge against you, and wish you good luck with the article. Just urging you to be a bit more careful. Consider this the end of the discussion. Cheers, Dabomb87 (talk) 22:35, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I'm having problems with some of the editing, once i've sorted it and am back from my holiday, I will contact the reviewers :)Marcus Bowen (talk) 00:44, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
ISS FAC4.
Hello there! As an editor who has posted a comment in one of the recent Peer Reviews, GANs or FACs of International Space Station, or who has contributed to the article recently, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind commenting in the current Featured Article Candidacy with any suggestions you have for article improvements (and being bold and making those changes), whether or not you feel any issues you have previously raised have been dealt with, and, ultimately, if you believe the article meets the Featured Article guidelines. This is the fourth FAC for this article, and it'd be great to have it pass. Many thanks in advance, Colds7ream (talk) 16:43, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Before you go...
Would you be up for a round of closures of FLs I may have supported/heavily reviewed? I know you're leaving soon for a vacation, and while I should be around to do some closures tomorrow (of stuff I haven't been too involved in) I may have trouble on Friday as I'm doing a three-leg overnight flight to get home and may be too wrecked, even to switch my laptop back on. Anything you could clear out of the way before you go would be great. I still think iMatthew seems busy so it's good old, little old me for the rest of the year... with (hopefully) a little help from our reviewer friends... The Rambling Man (talk) 19:08, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
- I'm doing closures tomorrow. After that, Giants has agreed to help out while I'm gone. Dabomb87 (talk) 22:30, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
- Happy hols! Ohconfucius ¡digame! 02:29, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
Opinion
what chances do you think the FG season 5 has of FL.--Pedro J. the rookie 23:24, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't have time to devote to reviewing / looking at articles right now, and as an FL director I need to maintain neutrality on FLCs. Dabomb87 (talk) 23:25, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- Right sorry good luck on your trip--Pedro J. the rookie 23:28, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
Nicholas Mayall FAC
Hello Dabomb87,
I'd love to get your copy edit help on the FAC for the astronomer Nicholas Mayall if you have a chance before you go on your trip.
Thanks.
WilliamKF (talk) 01:41, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry William, but I really won't have any time to help. Good luck. Dabomb87 (talk) 02:53, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- No problem, have fun on your vacation. WilliamKF (talk) 03:19, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
RfA thankspam
Hello, Dabomb87! This is just a note thanking you for participating in my recent Request for Adminship, which passed with a total of 93 support !votes, 1 oppose and 3 editors remaining neutral. While frankly overwhelmed by the level of support, I humbly thank the community for the trust it has placed in me, and vow to use the tools judiciously and without malice. |

Question
Hey, I got a question for you. Should the old FLC for Charlotte Bobcats all-time roster be moved to Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/Charlotte Bobcats all-time roster/archive1? And the current one be moved to archive2. Am I right?—Chris!c/t 02:18, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- All done. Thanks for letting me know. Dabomb87 (talk) 02:56, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Can you do me a favor
look at the fg episodes and tell me if it can get to FL with its current stucture.--Pedro J. the rookie 14:32, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- From a (very) cursory glance, it looks fine. You may want to compare it to recently promoted FLs such as List of Supernatural episodes. Good luck. Dabomb87 (talk) 00:15, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
