Welcome!
Hello DaPlaneNerd, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
At Wikipedia, new Users do not automatically receive a welcome; not even a machine-generated welcome. Welcome messages come from other Users. They are personal and genuine. They contain an offer of assistance if such assistance is ever desired.
I suggest to everyone I welcome that they may find some of the following helpful — there’s nothing personal in my suggestion and you may not need any of them:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Avoiding common mistakes
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Dolphin (t) 04:15, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
Lift (force)
editRegarding "the pressure distribution with isobars figure" you asked "Where is this?" See your diff. I believe this is the diagram in question. You will find it at Lift (force)#The wider flow around the airfoil.
The diagram was created by @Steelpillow:. He may be able to confirm and clarify my thoughts. Dolphin (t) 04:25, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- User:Steelpillow has amended the article to clarify the diagram in response to your question. Dolphin (t) 14:02, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
You're linking ships in the same section as the original link. The link you added to SMS Seydlitz was literally 2 paragraphs after the first link. The same for HMS Engadine. You might disagree with WP:OVERLINK, but it's part of the Manual of Style, which represents broad, project level consensus. You don't get to ignore it just because you don't like it. Please stop edit-warring. Parsecboy (talk) 12:58, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
