I may have information on the apartments; I'm writing an article now, but it's just about done, and when I'm done I can search through a book that covers most Ohio buildings that are on the National Register of Historic Places. Nyttend (talk) 01:37, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I do have information; please wait while I expand the article with it. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask me. You can also get a free copy of the nomination form used to add the building to the National Register of Historic Places; it should have several pages of information. Just email nr_reference@nps.gov — tell them your address, the name "Adena Court Apartments", and its National Register reference number (80003190) — and they'll mail it to you for free. Every building on the Register has a nomination form; if you want to request forms for other places in Zanesville or anywhere else in the country, they'll be happy to send you the forms for those places as well. - You're quite welcome! No, I don't know what was what. Are you in Muskingum County? If so, perhaps you could try to go inside; since the apartments were built around the old house-and-office, they'd probably have a distinctly different appearance. Or you could try the Muskingum County Library — it's at 220 N. 5th St., one block east of the Courthouse and two blocks north. - Ah, okay; nice :-) Curious, do you have a digital camera? If so, you could help improve the article in one very simple way — you could take a picture of part of the interior (perhaps the lobby, perhaps something else) to help illustrate the article. As you can see at National Register of Historic Places listings in Muskingum County, Ohio, I've taken pictures of the exteriors of many historic buildings in Zanesville, but I've never been inside any of them. - You say that the picture is on your computer — in other words, it's already a digital image? If so, you need not bother emailing it to me. You can simply use Special:Upload to add the picture to Wikipedia. You'll need to specify where you got it (since it's your own picture, say "own work" or "picture by DStarkey43701") and add a copyright tag.
