Article Critique
Topic;KSL cells.
I chose to work on this article because there are clearly a lot of adjustments, in my opinion, that can be made to make this article beneficial to other users.The first thing I noticed about this article was the lack of substantial information regarding what "KSL" cells really are. The article has roughly four sentences which do not provide much knowledge on the subject matter.I came up with so many questions after I read the article. A few of them were:
- What does KSL stand for?
- Who came up with the name?Is it an acronym?
- Where are they found?
- How do they function?
- How were they discovered?Who discovered them?
Secondly,I noticed that even with the little information provided on the topic ,there were no citations nor references whatsoever. This makes it difficult to verify the information given .A major problem I realized also, is that the article lacks illustrations and diagrams to help the reader know more about the topic.There should have been at least a diagram showing what these cells look like given the scanty information provided. Other problems I found with this article are the lack of organization of content and a weak introduction. Aside from these,there is also a banner on the article stating that the article is an "orphan"(it has no other articles linking to it) and also that it provides little information to people who may not be familiar with the topic, with my sentiments being shared on the latter.
HOW I PLAN ON IMPROVING THIS ARTICLE:
With regards to this article,my utmost goal is to gather a good amount of information and sources to cover this topic thoroughly.I intend to do this in such a way that the article answers all the questions I came up with when I initially read the article. I also plan on adding diagrams and illustrations to make the article easier to understand and seem more interesting that it already is.I am currently "on the hunt" for sources but here are a few that I have found:
