Hello, I'm Noyster. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. : Noyster (talk), 08:29, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

edit

Hello, Czarina de Britannia, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms our use and policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Article creation on Wikipedia

edit

Hello, Czarina de Britannia, an article on Wikipedia must meet 2 basic criteria: 1) It must be based on multiple independent reliable sources (not only self-published information or PR publications), and 2) It must be phrased in an uninvolved non-promotional tone in your own words. Your first try was likely deleted because it didn't meet these criteria (see first message on top). I recommend to read through WP:Your first article with a lot of additional useful information and a step-by-step guidance. You can also ask at WP:Teahouse for additional advice from other editors. Please see also the information I posted in the "Welcome" message above. Best regards. GermanJoe (talk) 12:32, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Czarina de Britannia

edit

A tag has been placed on User:Czarina de Britannia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

U5, redundant (COI draft is now in sandbox)

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
