Hi Cyungbluth, thankyou for the message on my Talk page. I admire your enthusiasm! Unfortunately Wikipedia is not the place to create a primary resource about charbroilling/chargrilling. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia which summarises things that have already been published elsewhere. Wikipedia isn't an instruction manual either, so such things as detailed operating/maintenance instructions aren't appropriate. The basic criteria of what can be included in Wikipedia is neatly summarised at Wikipedia:About#Wikipedia content criteria.

On a slightly different note, I understand charbroilling is known as chargrilling outside of the USA. You may find some additional sources if you search using the non-US term.

Lastly, if you want to reply to this, it's probably best to do it here, on your Talk page, so the conversation is in one place. All the best! Sionk (talk) 00:38, 13 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Charbroiler, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.
The article has been assessed as Start-Class, which is recorded on the article's talk page. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

Thank you for your recent submission to Articles for Creation. Your article submission has been reviewed. The submission has not been accepted because it included copyrighted information, which is not permitted on Wikipedia. Because of the copyright violation, the submission may be deleted before you see the other comment I added:

Copyright violation of http://www.vulcanequipment.com/Vulcan/About_Us/ . This company is a subsidiary of Illinois Tool Works. Very few of ITW's subsidiaries have their own Wikipedia article, and I expect that very few that don't currently qualify for one.

Articles for creation/Vulcan-Hart edit

I deleted Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Vulcan-Hart because it had content that was copied from [1]. It was not the format, it was just because the content was copied. You can see a guide for this here (note that even employees of a company can't copy its content). Another thing you should be aware of is our conflict of interest guideline. Essentially, you should tell your marketing director that it is against Wikipedia's policies to accept articles about companies written by their employees. We will continue to delete articles if they are not written by outsiders and if your marketing team is persistent enough, Vulcan-Hart will be blacklisted which will make it impossible for any Wikipedia article to link to a Vulcan-Hart website. Wikipedia is not for promotion of anything, whether it's a company, a person or even a viewpoint. Due to the ease of editing, many believe they can use it for free advertising as your marketing director seems to, but inform him that we will delete any and all promotional material.
