Adoptee?

Hi, I'm new to signed editing on Wikipedia, and looking for a friendly source of advice. I've made a few hundred edits in the past 4 years, and am often glad to see that nearly all remain current. Recently I've run into a couple of minor technical / formatting obstacles, and decided that officially joining the community would be enjoyable and helpful. I'll be a low-maintenance adoptee, and hope you'll accept me. My primary expertise is in psychology (PhD), neuroscience, and philosophy, with good working knowledge of physics, biology, and math.
