Dear all. Recently, FR30799386 (talk) was blocked for sock puppetry. Among their projects were a number of user scripts that they left behind. I (DannyS712) have copied the scripts, and have taken over maintaining them. mobileUndo

Hello, recently FR30799386 was blocked for sock puppetry. The left behind few of their scripts. DannyS712 has copied the scripts, and has taken over maintaining them. It appears that you currently importing an outdated version of import FR30799386's mobileUndo, and I thought that you might want to import an updated and maintained version. The outdated version you are currently importing has some bugs. Those bugs have been fixed by the original creator and DannyS712 synced their version of the script with it. Also FR is currently rewritting and updating this script on meta-wiki per this advice as well as adding new features. Please copy one of the following codes and replace it with the code you currently have in your Special:MyPage/minerva.js or Special:MyPage/common.js to import this script. Thank you. The right term for Yang di-Pertuan Agong XVI

Attempted GA nomination of Midbrain

CyberTroopers, GA nominations cannot be made directly to the WP:GAN page. It is generated by a bot, and the entry you made has already been overwritten. The instructions on how to nominate are at WP:GANI, but taking a look at the article, it simply isn't at GA level. The lead section is grossly inadequate (see MOS:LEAD), and many paragraphs are completely unsourced.

For future nominations, if you are not a significant contributor to the article you wish to nominate, before you begin the nomination you need to consult on the article's talk page so that those who have been significant contributors can give their opinion as to whether the article is ready for nomination or needs more work to be ready. Wikidata

@LSGH: It's linked to the wikidata so there won't be any crowds in the template, plus I did update the datas in the wikidata. So, there won't be necessary to update in the template which is quite troublesome, and the data from wikidata is automatically display in that template. I hope it's clear. It's more troublesome because the data is fetched from another place. If you look at the edit history and look at any diff there, there is a high chance that the data for Indonesia (which has used that Wikidata thing since July) will not correspond to what its placement in that diff would suggest. It is irrelevant if data from Wikidata is automatically displayed. It's not even the default way of doing things at the template. LSGH (talk) (contributions) 18:15, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

@LSGH: Nope totally not. We've a team who works on updates for the data in the wikidata. And we do feel it's much easier to adapt the data from wikidata instead of do it manually in the template, plus other countries also did the same. I'm not sure if you're used to wikidata or not, but this is the reason why wikidata existed. Only two countries are using that. And besides, you are still pushing your point of view even if there is already a long-standing consensus against using data from Wikidata. LSGH (talk) (contributions) 18:28, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

The use of "R.O.C." instead of "Taiwan"

I don't understand why the change of 'Taiwan' to 'R.O.C.' is considered as 'vandalism'. 'R.O.C.' is the usual neutral term that many Wikipedians in the Chinese Wikipedia widely use when referring to the Republic of China.
