Hi Clayton,
I think you made a lot of great improvements to an article that was originally short and vague. I like sections that go into specifics on temperature and gustation. Maybe you could add some information distinguishing between depolarization and hyperpolarization, and how receptor potential channels can be useful drug targets. I think your article would also benefit from adding a few more sources. Hope this helps!
