Sandbox draft edit

Hi, Cville24. I looked at the draft in your sandbox, and it looks fine. What I would recommend is that you simply replace the first part of the existing article with your version. It's the same information, but your version is more up to date and better. To do that, just copy everything between (not including) the main title (Jonathan R. Alger) and ==References==. If you like, I can do that.

About the incident, which is the second part of the existing article, I would leave that there at the end of the article. In your comment on the Talk page of the article, you noted several problems with the references. I agree, the sources don't support the statement that the president has been criticized. So it should be rewritten to say what the sources do support. What I would do (I will do this if you don't, I think it might be better for a non-COI editor to handle this) is to quote the Post story as background for what happened, quote the article on how the young woman gave an interview saying she was not happy with the outcome, and then add the two references that you suggested. – Margin1522 (talk) 21:30, 17 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Jonathan R. Alger edit

Thanks, Marchjuly, for your help on the Alger article. I found your recommendations really useful! You can see my detailed feedback on Talk:Jonathan R. Alger. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cville24 (talkcontribs) 00:32, 19 November 2014‎ (UTC+9)

No problem Cville24. I just did a little cleanup. It seems that there are more experienced editors now working on the article, so hopefully they will be able to better help you with the content changes you are requesting.   - Marchjuly (talk) 00:35, 19 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Welcome from another new user edit

Hi there!

I'm also a new user and am working on submitting my first articles. Have you had any reviewed? Did you reach a specific editor, or just submit your page to Wikipedia and are waiting to hear back?

Would love to know how it went for you and if you have any tips if your article gets denied. (I'm still waiting to hear back, but I'm worried.)

Welcome and hope to hear from you! CommsPro123 (talk) 16:28, 22 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
