Edit summaries edit

Could I ask you please to use edit summaries? It makes it easier to figure out if you are removing or adding vandalism. And thanks for removing it. Dougweller (talk) 09:24, 19 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. I was not sure about what was there, but it seems ok now. Cutter12 (talk) 16:31, 21 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of List of large sailing yachts up to 1995 edit

Hello Cutter12,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged List of large sailing yachts up to 1995 for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, [[{{{article}}}]].

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. JamesChen2003 (talk) 17:28, 27 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

That list goes down to just 50 meters, while this one goes down to 30 meters. Evetnually it can go to even shorter yachts that were significant in this era, but became more commonplace in the 21st century. That is the problem we are facing, that longer yachts become very common and it becomes too difficult to keep them updated in a list. I hope that explains the situation, and I can see we are still working on it so there may be even more changes before the group here is satisfied (but we are trying to make progress). ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for April 15 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Douce France, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tender (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
