I've always been led to believe that news articles were reliable sources of the events that took place, am I wrong? {{ping | curb safe charmer}} Curtis Bligh (talk) 15:06, 10 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

July 2023 edit

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Draft:Excell Metal Spinning, you may be blocked from editing. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 15:07, 10 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Curb Safe Charmer but this isn't promotional or advertising material. What is stated within the article is purely factual and is available in the public domain. The information written about Excell is written in an unbiased way and have been verified with third party sources. Please see definition of promotional or advertising material. What is written is well within the guidelines.
Rather than tell me to stop, please elaborate on your decision making by providing a constructive response in order to improve this article for the benefit of the public Curtis Bligh (talk) 15:12, 10 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Your draft is not suitable for Wikipedia because it appears to be about a Wikipedia:Run-of-the-mill business. You have a clear conflict of interest. Even if the draft is written in an unbiased way, your behaviour is clearly promotional - you appear to be here for the sole purpose of writing about your family business. If that's the case, Wikipedia isn't the place for you. If you want to show that's not the case, please find another topic to write about. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 15:27, 10 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Curb Safe Charmer what you have said there is based on an assumption with no foundation. When comparing entries like Hubspot, it is hard to reason with your comments.
I will happily contribute to Wikipedia on other subjects if that's what it takes. However I was under the notion that by following the guidelines and learning from others to correct my mistakes, articles based on factual evidence could be written. Not be scrutinised with an assuming, biased perspective. It is a wonder then, how anything is published ... Curtis Bligh (talk) 15:37, 10 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
