Note about Ignatenko's Radiation Dose

edit

I'd like to clear up why there is no cited number for Ignatenko's radiation dose on this page. Presently, I have seen a number of different estimates, which may or may have been accurate. In the interest of keeping the page factual, encyclopedic, and free from speculation, I am choosing not to include an exact number until I can find a very trustworthy source for one. According to doctor Angelina Guskova, cited in Adam Higgenbotham's Midnight in Chernobyl, who was the head nurse at Hospital No. 6 where the Chernobyl victims were treated, their own estimates were based primarily on biological dosimetry, which is not necessarily accurate. Therefore it may not be constructive to even include any exact number at all, and safer to assume that the dose was high, offering a well sourced ballpark estimate, or simply stating, as I have so far, that the exposure was unusually significant.
