Unblock on hold

Completing this to find why my IP block (82.152.9.225-230) has been barred. {{Unblock on hold|1=Raul654|2=The block 82.152.9.225-230 is assigned to ME and me alone, so I would ask for it to be unblocked asap. The range blocked is actually much larger than you're assuming - it covers 82.152.9.0-255, and is intended to stop a chronic vandal who until now we believed was the only editor on the range. I've asked the blocking administrator to look into this. Hersfold ^(t/a/c) 23:17, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi Hersfold. Thank you for your assistance. I did realise that the block in question was 82.152.9.0/24, but the explanation given was: "Range used exclusively by TileJoin", which is untrue, as the block 82.152.9.225-230 (82.152.9.224/29) has been assigned to (and used by) me since April 2004. I cannot speak for the remainder of the /24 block as I have no association with it, although I would assume that it belongs to my ISP. Anyway, thanks for looking into this for me. Looking over this user's edit history, what happened was that at the time I blocked TileJoin (using checkuser), Cross-keys's IP addresses had dropped out of the checkuser log (so when I checkuserd TileJoin, the only edits from that range that showed were his). I've switched the range block so that it blocks only anonymous users. Cross-keys - as long as you are logged in to wikipedia, you should be able to edit fine. Hello. I wanted to explain why I reverted your edit to Nick Hancock. You added unsourced personal information to article, which is against our policy on biographies of living persons. This must be cited to a reliable source. This would generally include newspapers, magazines, and books from reputable publishers. Social media is generally not considered reliable, but if a celebrity published their own birth date on an official website or social media account, we could use that. However, websites that comprise user-generated content, such as the IMDb, are not allowed. Essentially, it has to come from a professional journalist or the subject themselves.
