Professor Anu Muhammad is not only chair of the Department of Economics at Jahangirnagar University and the leading political economist in Bangladesh—whose work has proven immensely influential among the youth—but he is also internationally known for his committed political activism for democracy and justice, and against capitalism, imperialism, racism, patriarchy, and many other forms and forces of oppression—local and global. He has written some good books on Bangladesh Economy both in English and native language Bengali.

Gunter Dorner

I am confused by your recent edits to the Gunter Dorner page. The issue there is not whether the subject is notable; it is whether Wikipedia should let a sockpuppet of a banned user, who apparently enjoys violating BLP, create a BLP. Surely common sense would suggest that any BLP created by such a sock be deleted? Considering who started it, everything in the article should be considered suspect. I agree with you in part. Looking at the German Wikipedia article de:Günter Dörner and Google Scholar citations I get the feeling that the person is notable according to WP:PROF and that there are enough sources out there to write the article in such a way that it doesn't violate BLP. But given what you say about the creator of the page it may be difficult to do so. It may be easiest to delete the article (and hopefully somebody will recreate a better version of it in the future), which is why I ended up leaving the prod in place.
