May 2016 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Pink and White Terraces, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Andrewgprout (talk) 05:57, 4 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Is probably not a reliable source for Wikipedia it is obviosly self published. Andrewgprout (talk) 06:02, 4 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

From your comment, you obviously never bothered to read these books or read our published reviewed papers in scholarly journals (on which the trilogy is based) before waving your red pen. This is unprofessional editing in my view. You have done Wiki and Joe Public a disservice. Counterrev11 (talk) 05:35, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sorry all the above came across a bit hard. I suspect you can improve the P&W Terraces page - and it does need improvement. However you need to keep to the mainstream and write what you can backup with reliable citations. I know this sounds harsh but it is what prevents Wikipedia being a big mishmash of totally unreliable garbage.Andrewgprout (talk) 06:17, 4 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
