I'm the Architect of the Panorama Tower since 2012 ... The information being posted is inaccurate During the past few days I noticed the error you have made and I was merely trying to correct it

May 2014 edit

Hello, I'm Excirial. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Panorama Tower without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 20:54, 30 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Panorama Tower, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Panorama Tower, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you.--Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 21:03, 30 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

It's a bad idea to edit an article that you're connected to edit

Hello, Cosicher. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Panorama Tower, you may have a conflict of interest.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 21:14, 30 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

DO YOU SUGGEST OR RECOMMEND I PROVIDE THE CORRECT INFORMATION TO AN APPROVED EDITOR WHO KNOWS HOW TO NAVIGATE THE WIKIPEDIA SITE .. Could you recommend me that person
Thanks Moshe Cosicher Architect AIA — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cosicher (talkcontribs)
As I said below, you can propose your changes at the article's talk page—in this case, Talk:Panorama Tower. —C.Fred (talk) 00:14, 31 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
I've also rewritten the article based on information I found at exMiami. If there are additional changes, you are invited to propose them at Talk:Panorama Tower. —C.Fred (talk) 00:46, 31 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Additionally, you need to provide a reference to a secondary source to support your claims. We need to be able to verify the text in the article—we have no way to verify your claims, and it is Wikipedia practice to not accept first-hand claims from editors, especially those involved with the subject. —C.Fred (talk) 00:16, 31 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SETTING IT ON THE RIGHT PATH AND EXCUSE MY IGNORANCE — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cosicher (talkcontribs) 12:14, 31 May 2014‎ (UTC)Reply
No problem. We were all newbies at some point. :) Two things I've done with your comment to bring it in line with standard practice here. First, I've moved it below my full message in threaded order; it's bad practice to interrupt another user's message with your reply. Second, I've added a signature so everybody can see who made the comment and when. You can—and should—add a signature to your message on talk pages. You can do it automatically by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your message. —C.Fred (talk) 13:11, 31 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

That also means, do not blank the article. If content needs updated, explain the changes that need made at the article's talk page and get assistance from other, independent editors in making the change. —C.Fred (talk) 21:16, 30 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I RECEIVED FAA FINAL PERMI APPROVAL ON FEBRUARY THIS YEAR BY REDUCING THE ORIGINAL HEIGHT OF 849 ft REDUCED AND LOCKED IN AT 830 ft THE CITY ALLOWED ME TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF FLOORS FROM 74 TO 83 BY REDISTRIBUTING THE USE AND HEIGHT OF EACH PLATE
LET ME KNOW WHAT EVIDENCE YOU NEED WOULD THE BUILDING PERMITS BE SUFFICIENT MY PLANS JUST LET NE KNOW — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cosicher (talkcontribs)
You need to provide published sources for the claim. News stories would be best: not only are newspapers secondary sources that are independent of the project, but they also have editorial staffs to fact-check the article. The project's website would be the second-choice source. —C.Fred (talk) 02:08, 31 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Also, re the building height: the independent source is pretty clear that the altitude of the top of the structure is 830 feet above sea level, but the height of the building itself is 822 feet. —C.Fred (talk) 12:45, 1 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
ALTHOUGH THE BUILDING HEIGHT REMAINS 830 ft...
THERE IS AN ERROR REPORTING THE # of LEVELS AS IT APPEARS AS 74 stories when it ACTUALLY AS APPROVED AS 83 STORIES BY THE CITY OF MIAMI 4/21/2014
ALSO our web site is PANORAMA1101COMMUNITY.COM — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cosicher (talkcontribs)
The source is very clear: the altitude of the top of the building is 830 feet above sea level; the actual structure is 822 feet from ground to top.[1] It's only an eight-foot difference in Miami, but it's a more significant difference further inland.
I don't see 83 stories listed in any of the sources; I've changed it but tagged it as needing a citation to a published, independent source. Has the City of Miami published its minutes from the 21 April meeting, and are they available online? If that's what they approved for the building, we can go with that.
Finally, panorama1101community.com is a dead link; http://panoramatower1101community.com/ resolves to a website apparently owned by FECR—and that website says 82 stories! —C.Fred (talk) 18:10, 1 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Some one is messing with your recent upload ... I reloaded the façade as approved by the City of Miami on April 21, 2014 .. Our Panorama web site is PANORAMA 1101COMMUNITY.COM — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cosicher (talkcontribs)

It was deleted because it was found to have been published in the Miami Herald. You may need to contact Wikimedia Commons directly via email to make clear that your company has "donated", or placed under an irrevocable free license, the image of the façade. —C.Fred (talk) 12:38, 1 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Alternatively, you may want to make a page for images at http://panoramatower1101community.com/ and make sure that the image caption, or the bottom of the page itself, states "These images are under a Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 3.0 license", even if you keep the rest of the site under all rights reserved licenses. There needs to be some independent way to verify that you are who you say you are; would you want somebody impersonating you to give away your work without your consent? —C.Fred (talk) 12:44, 1 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I understand and that is why I got involved in setting the record straight How can I e mail you the stamps of the permit plans and the legend that certifies that the information I'm giving you is the factual information .. By the way I have pictures of the foundation rig on the site drilling the Auger Piles if you want those too . I thank you for your cooperation in setting accurate reporting of this project on the right path

The issue isn't directly that the information is factual. The issue is that you have authority to license the image. That's why we either look for a posted website with the license terms, or you have to email Wikimedia Commons (a separate website with separate guidelines) to give them the information. Unless you have the rights to the image, you can't give away the image as you've done. (However, if you do have rights, the donation you've made at Commons is irrevocable—that image can now be used in derivate works.) —C.Fred (talk) 18:00, 1 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please sign your talk-page comments edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 12:39, 1 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
