We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

that of course is an absurd reason for deletion, but in fact , the article did need to be deleted. It seems that there is no information on even Google, let alone Google news, and the article can be read as a negative BLP. This is not the sort of thing to joke about, and if you ever make another similar contribution, you shall surely be blocked. Everyone is welcome to participate in Wikipedia but please do not add names that do not have qualified articles to the WikiCalendar pages as you did on both the May 11 and 2003 pages. It is best to familiarize yourself with WP:DOY policy, as well as other Wikipedia policies before finding your efforts to have been in vain.
