Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes. Play in your user area. For example, create User:Cornishbruce/test. Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. Saltash and Tamar Valley History

I removed the link you added to http://www.brucehunt.co.uk/ for a few reasons; firstly, it was in the wrong section - it is not an appropriate reference, but it would go in external links; secondly, I am concerned that there have been problems with excess links on that article in the past, and the link may not meet the WP:EL policy requirements; thirdly, from your username, I wonder if you have a conflict of interest.
