CorenSearchBot

Hi. I am an administrator and bureaucrat Ukrainian Wikipedia and would like you to know whether it is possible to have your bot worked in our section? What you need? Sorry for my bad English. If you answer me, please use {{ping}}. With its global notification messages I receive your reply. Thanks. --Максим Підліснюк (talk) 00:21, 1 April 2016 (UTC)

Привет, @Максим Підліснюк: Deploying CSBot to another language wiki using an alphabetic script is generally not very hard, but you will need to have someone familiar with the wiki and its policies to administer it (in particular, you need someone to set up project space pages for its reports, suitably localized message templates, and someone who is willing and able to manage the bot configuration and respond to user requests).

If you have someone willing to do so already (perhaps yourself?), please point them to my talk page, and we can start the process. — Coren (talk) 10:14, 1 April 2016 (UTC)

I am willing to work with you to localize bot. If my technical knowledge is not enough, I will ask help from other users. --Максим Підліснюк (talk) 10:41, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
@Максим Підліснюк: Fair enough. I'm currently in Jerusalem, but I'll be back home in a couple of days and I'll sit down with you at that time to work this out. In the meantime, you may want to create an account on Wikitech if you don't already have one. — Coren (talk) 08:33, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
I created account in wikitech. Waiting for you. --Максим Підліснюк (talk) 09:46, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
Hey Coren, as you may have noticed, CorenSearchBot has been down since April 2nd. Is there anything that the Community Tech team can do to help CorenSearchBot migrate to the new API? I put some notes for you at phabricator:T131169. Kaldari (talk) 19:18, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Do you have the opportunity to do implementation a bot in ukwiki? --Максим Підліснюк (talk) 20:41, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

I'm afraid that until we find a workable alternative to the search engine we used, we're CSB-less even on English Wikipedia. :-( — Coren (talk) 20:09, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

Collect essay; second bite at the cherry

You participated in an MfD discussion about an essay by Collect that was in mainspace. The result was userfy and it was moved to user space accordingly. The essay has been moved back to mainspace. There is a discussion as to whether it should be renamed and moved. The discussion is here. Writegeist (talk) 00:45, 17 May 2016 (UTC)
