Surrey for all that
editHi Cooltrainer
Thanks for the advice - actually another editor has told me how to get the boxes as I want, but I haven't got round to fixing it yet. Welcome to the Surrey project - a bit dormant at the moment. BTW, you seem to have picked up the wrong template on your user page. Regards Motmit (talk) 08:05, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Content dispute !=vandalism
editCooltrainer Hugh,
Please don't label a content dispute 'vandalism'. It's clear from your userboxes that you have a POV on UKIP, and that seems to be colouring your actions. The party's aims are to strip us of our rights. You may applaud that aim, but trying to hide it is the vandalism. I've seen a policy page called Wikipedia:Please do not bite the newcomers, which I think you would do well to read. Yours, 83.104.50.65 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:40, 15 September 2009 (UTC).
- Thank you for experimenting with the page User talk:83.104.50.65 on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
- Hi - you'll find it in para 2.1, sentence 3, aim to withdraw. The edit I made was to spell out what that means, and that constitutes fact. Your edit was pro-UKIP propaganda, because 'self-rule' sounds cuddly, and is a highly selective portion of their vitriol, so using only that bit constitutes very biased UKIP-POVness. Please stop vandalising userpages with the use of inappropriate templates. Yours. 83.104.50.65 (talk)

About your Admin Coaching request
edit
Your submission at Admin Coaching has been removed from the request list, as requests where the submitter has not visited the page for at least 6 months (or been inactive for at least 4 months) are removed. You are welcome to re-submit a request should you wish to, but please note that you are expected to regularly check the page (and to update the "last visited" field of your request) to show your continued interest in the project. If you do re-submit, please carefully re-read the instructions for submission as they may have changed since you last visited! As noted on the project page, there is an on-going backlog with the project, as so few admins are currently coaching. This means that you may have a long wait for a response (if you receive one at all). If you no longer require admin coaching, I hope that you continue to enjoy editing Wikipedia! IP block exempt
editI have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.
Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.
Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).
I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Daniel Case (talk) 16:28, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

I have left a comment about your deletion on the discussion page. I fear I've got better things to do with my time than to pursue this (it isn't that important either way), but, to the extent that you may be one of the main authors of the article, it really does contain a considerable load of trivia and could, in my view, do with (a) a lot of tightening up and (b) greater historical perspective. It has a very journalistic and, to an extent, "Party" feel. IXIA (talk) 21:30, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Re: Stephen Lloyd
editThat's more like it - putting "I don't think this sentence belongs in Mr Lloyd's article" as the edit summary does look rrather like IDONTLIKEIT. Perhaps you could try to put a bit more of a useful edit summary in future? Of course, you can always put "see talk" and explain it there if you think it needs further explanation. Now in terms of the actual edit - I disagree. The tuition fees vote was very important in political history in the UK, particularly in the context of this coalition government, and deserves a mention - particularly as he voted against his party. ninety:one (reply on my talk) 01:10, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

I've merged the substantive bits of Resolution Revolution into British Humanist Association as per the rough consensus that is developing in the AfD. As per WP:NACD, do you want to close it with redirect under the speedy keep rules? If not, you can leave it for the full listing period, see if the consensus changes and have an uninvolved editor or admin close, but it seems a totally uncontroversial case of speedy merge and redirect. —Tom Morris (talk) 11:30, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 5
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Eastleigh by-election, 2013, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Telegraph (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
