Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! If you cannot find any policy or guideline based reasons for a rename, or if you keep insulting people, I'll block you. Go over to the Tamil Wikipedia article[1] which has the same title we do and insult them. I don't know why editors are coming here and not having the courtesy to read the material at the top of the page, but we may have to stop new editors from posting if no one is going to bother to notice that this is the English language version of Wikipedia and we go by WP:COMMONNAME. Does not make difference you block me or not ,but the fact is you are distorting historical facts.and do not give examples of others following suit .do not follow blind fellows is the phrase. Coolgaurav25 (talk) 13:14, 12 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

No, I'm following WP:COMMONNAME, a Wikipedia policy. If the most common name in English language reliable sources was Ram Setu, we'd use that. But it isn't. What's most annoying is that no one is brave or honest enough to admit that they came here not coincidentally but because of something they read on the web or were told. Are you honest enough to tell me? Doug Weller talk 11:51, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
