Filipino people

edit

Hello, I reinstated the pictures of the Filipino people. The picture you have, while very nice, is not representative of the Filipino population; they are all composed of Lowland Christian Filipinos. The original picture that you removed includes photos of other Filipino groups and is thus more inclusive. There is probably a more appropriate page for your picture. Thanks for your understanding. --Chris S. 08:25, 27 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The picture is fine as it is. It's in color and it has free images. No need to change. Thanks. --Chris S. 03:29, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, please stop changing the pic at Filipino people. Why do you feel it necessary to add Cardinal Sin, Nur Misuari, and President Marcos when 1. there are already Christian Filipinos in the pic and 2. there already is a Muslim Filipino. And then you done removed the Ayta boy. Again, the picture is fine as it is. Thank you. --Chris S. 07:43, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading Image:Native Hawaiians.PNG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Ptr ru 12:49, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

New problem

edit

Sorry, but there is new problem: images from UN-sites are copyrighted in most case. The license of Image:Mililanitrask.jpg is wrong.--Alex Spade 21:05, 27 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok i understand, delete it then. But its kind of ironic how it's been uploaded on wikipedia for 2 & a half years, and only now someone notices about it's copyright.
--Coojah 07:08, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contribution and understanding. It's all easy: I and Ptr ru are image copyright observers in Russian Wikipedia. One of our users had loaded your image without any license ru:Изображение:Native Hawaiians.PNG.--Alex Spade 10:47, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source for Image:Princess_kaiulani.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Princess_kaiulani.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:20, 3 March 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Iamunknown 23:20, 3 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Could you please write a stub about my hometown on HWC language here - just a few sentences based on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kur%C3%B3w ? Only 3-5 sentences enough. Please.

PS. Article about Kurów is already on 171 languages. If your village/town/city hasn't on PL wiki, I can do article about it. (I'm first author of requests) Pietras1988 TALK 20:05, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
