Malcolm X edit

What do you mean the "main purpose"? Wildthing61476 (talk) 16:47, 18 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 17:05, 18 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh, he is important due to the fact he helped bring the Nation of Islam into focus and was part of a movement that believes in more violent tactics for civil rights, rather than Martin Luther King for example. I'm also not in school, I'm 31 and been out of school for years, just to let you know. The Malcolm X article actually explains why he is so important pretty well I'd say. LOL edit

Don't worry I'm NOT like that, just a boring editor on Wikipedia :) Maya Angelou, wow there is a lot to be said about her here Maya Angelou, for instance she gave a poem at Bill Clinton's 1st inaugural address, she's an award-winning poet as well. The article is a great resource, and I'd recommend looking into some of the books she wrote as well for more info about her. Wildthing61476 (talk) 16:49, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
