Draft:George D. Major edit

Thank you for your hard work on Draft:George D. Major. I made a number of edits, and then moved it back to draft. The sourcing needs a lot of work. If you need help feel free to ask. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:50, 22 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Not nice. I spent a lot of time cleaning up that sloppy article, and you reverted all my improvements. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:55, 22 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Not all, only a few. I added sources as well as changed the word farmer back to agriculturalist because that's what his occupation is listed as in multiple documents. thanks for the help with the wording, I will admit I'm not the best when it comes to wording articles. Conlin12 (talk) 23:03, 22 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
The article is a mess and should remain a draft until it's fixed. The sources are malformed and useless. I'm strongly urging you to revert the article back to draft until it's fixed. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:08, 22 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
whats wrong with the sources? Conlin12 (talk) 23:10, 22 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sourcing edit

Hi Conlin12, thank you for your contributions. The new articles you've created are well written, but the sourcing isn't sufficient for Wikipedia's guidelines and policies. For example, most of David Major was cited to Prabook, but Prabook is an unreliable source that contains a mix of user generated content and information scraped from other Who's Who sources (which themselves are typically considered user generated and unreliable, as you can see at WP:RSP). Sources like Find a Grave are also almost never acceptable as a source or external link (WP:FINDAGRAVE-EL). Please make sure to use reliable, secondary sources when drafting new articles. You can learn more about reliable sourcing at WP:RS, and if you have a question about a particular source, you can see if there is a consensus about that source at WP:RSP, or discuss it at WP:RSN. You can also let me know if you have any questions. Thank you, Politanvm talk 15:17, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
