Hello, I'm Eyer. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Kyoto Animation arson attack seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.  Eyercontact  17:20, 20 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'm Baltakatei. I also want you to know that Wikipedia articles are tertiary sources of information that should only reflect what references already explicitly state. If you found a reputable reference that asserts that the suspect in the Kyoto Animation arson attack has been sentenced to suffer the death penalty then you may add words explaining that fact. However, it isn't fact yet from sources that I have reviewed. I don't expect such a judgement to be made for at least several months and I doubt reputable news sources will risk legal consequences of taking over the role of the local legal system. I said ALMOST certainly. ConMoltoEspressivo (talk) 19:20, 20 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. I see that your account is brand new. Please familiarize yourself with guides such as Wikipedia:Contributing to Wikipedia before making major edits on front-page articles. Per WP:PURPOSE, The goal of a Wikipedia article is to present a neutrally written summary of existing mainstream knowledge in a fair and accurate manner with a straightforward, "just-the-facts style".

Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. While it is likely that the suspect will be convicted and experience the death penalty, it is not certain that this will happen. Furthermore, this has not been published by any reputable sources, so we can't just add it in there just because it's likely to happen in the future. Let's try our best to keep Wikipedia neutral and reliable. —Bobbychan193 (talk) 20:16, 20 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Stop telling blank lies, my account is not brand new, I made it last month. And it was in the news, so stop claiming that I make up stuff. Give me some room, English is my second language under Japanese, please? And I never said that it was certain that he will experience the death penalty, I said that it was ALMOST certain.
