Request reason:

Hey there James, I do not understand how my account has been blocked, I have never had any other account except for this one. The CPSA put in a request on the UK Wikipedians Notice Board, and I followed out a task to make a List of English Sport Shooters, I made a page that had previously been deleted, Ian Farnworth, a shooter from the North West. I believe I have been wrongly accused of misbehaving, please, I love Wikipedia and have contributed some to it, but never have I vandalised it, I wish for my suspension to be lifted please, as I was only carrying out a task of creating an article about a request person. Thanks for understanding.

I've requested comment by the blocking admin since it's not clear to me on what grounds this user is suspected of socking.  Sandstein  17:13, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

See the sock investigation page, this passes the duck test easily. Even the structure of the username is the same as usual for this user. Hairhorn (talk) 17:49, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Indeed, thanks. Unblock request declined.  Sandstein  19:54, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Fair enough that I match the description of those editors, but I was given a task to do, what is wrong with adding Ian Farnworth/Dan Farnworth to Jules Sobrian's page? I have contributed fairly and not made fun of anyone or anything, I am only filling in information that is missing. If you live in Lancashire, you will realize Ian Farnworth is a well known person, I mean, almost as well known as Trevor Hemmings. Please, I love Wikipedia, can you please allow me to have my account back? And if not, can someone make, even a small page, for Ian Farnworth? Thanks alot again Hairhorn, Sandstein and James.

Decline reason:

If you want an account back, go back to your original account and wait. WP:SOCK is never permitted - once blocked, it's you, the person who are blocked. As to article specifics, I would assume they fail the notability guidelines. If you were "tasked" to create an article, it's pretty good chance that you have such massive conflict of interest that you should never go near the article (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 20:16, 19 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
