  • While it provides a service, the UBC Bookstore is surely a for-profit business, is it not? It seems clear that to list all businesses that cater to students is not within the scope of this article. If I'm wrong and you have a source that says it is a service run by the university or a non-profit society, I stand willing to be corrected. Sunray (talk) 17:35, 9 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Even if the UBC Bookstore is operated as a division of the university, it got an undue amount of coverage in your edits compared to other student services. Likewise, if you compared UBC's article to other universities', you would probably find their bookstores go unmentioned or get only a passing mention. —C.Fred (talk) 19:18, 9 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
I've been able to confirm that the Bookstore is wholly owned by the university (which wasn't clear from the link provided) and does contribute significantly to student services. So I've restored that text and added a citation. As C.Fred says, it could be trimmed a bit, though. Sunray (talk) 23:33, 9 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
