Shared account

Great, please use pronouns that refer to a single person (I, me, my, etc.) rather than pronouns that refer to a group or entity (e.g. we, us, our, etc.) as this implies that the account is shared by more than one person. I assume you are an Alison employee, you may want to propose edits on the talk page using the {{request edit}} template instead of editing the page directly, if you want your edits to be sustained. Try not to use any language that sounds promotional or can come off as such to ensure that the content wouldn't be removed quickly. Yes - Employee - CEO. I spent a bit of time updating our listing in early Jan as it was mostly 5 years out of date - and in some parts incorrect. I kept copies of what I posted. I did not think it sounded like an ad - but I might have inherent bias. It is important for our 12 million users that there is an accurate and updated profile. Happy to work with whoever to make sure it is that. Will try the talk function now. There is a lot notable about what we do.

Here is the listing as I posted it. Can you help me identify what you, as an experienced editor, have issues with? The area of free online learning is very dynamic - lots of new topics and ideas to help others understand.

Well, if you are indeed the CEO of Alison, it would be very difficult for you to even try to maintain neutrality. You would obviously have a strong incentive to promote your company to increase traffic etc. I strongly recommend you not to edit the article directly, regardless of the state of the article. Instead propose your changes on the talk page (use New section), and add {{Request edit}} to the top of the section. You may want to see WP:PSCOI for more details. I'm actually not that experienced with facilitating WP:COI edit requests; you may want to ask editor Spintendo for advice, who is much more familiar with this area. feminist (talk) 14:36, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
