Welcome new user edit

Hello, User:Collegaproul, I see you opened an account and begun to make edits to the encyclopaedia in 2009 but have never received an official welcome. Let me say you are most welcome and thank you for the many constructive edits you've made since then. Here's a standard welcome box with lots of useful links. I hope you get pleasure from editing and making Wikipedia an even better resource for the community.

Wikipedia encourages new members to jump in and make corrections and contributions to articles. I myself found the Be bold guideline particularly encouraging when I was getting started. I also found the Wikipedia:Cheatsheet a useful quick reference for editing text.

If you have any questions about the project don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page here :-User_talk:Lumos3.

Happy editing,

Non-free rationale for File:Chgkowl.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Chgkowl.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 18:34, 12 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Possibly unfree File:TV-USSR-Logo.png edit

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:TV-USSR-Logo.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you object to the listing for any reason. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (tc) 04:54, 11 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Sterligova Simac The Goblin Reservation.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sterligova Simac The Goblin Reservation.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 04:29, 29 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
