Welcome to Wikipedia, Codenamecuckoo/Archive 1! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting from other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

Deus Ex Characters

Thankyou for your contributions to the article! One question though, are you sure your info in Gunther's fantasy for a Skull-gun is correct? I'm sure this weapon was not mentioned (at least in the first game), it's actually from Neal Stephenson's Diamond Age isn't it? And I don't think it kills using willpower, it fires nano-projectiles imbedded in the user's head I think.

Hi! Check Gunther's email in the first visit to UNATCO HQ (it's in Jacobson's office, but up the stairs). "Might i suggest agin, a skul-gun for my head" (sic.)." Deus Ex organisation images

Can you replace Image:Unatco logo.gif, Image:X51.jpg and Image:Mj12complogin.jpg with lossless originals? PNG would do fine. They are so tiny, their size would still be insignificant. Also, doesn't the NSF have a login image? I can't remember, too long since I played.--Drat (Talk) 12:48, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Episodeiii clash.JPG. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. I was wondering if you knew where to get the NSF logo on the web. I thought you might know since you uploaded the X-51 logo.

Force Lightning

I'm on WikiBreak but I stopped by on my watchlist to see how some articles were doing, and I saw your great additions to Force Lightning - those images are perfect! Question - do you think it'd be better to keep it at Force Lightning or move it to Force lightning? --Wooty Woot? contribs 21:22, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Well from personal experience I would say Force lightning, as that's the page I first went to. Starwars.com is very coy about it, however there is the following sentence on the Palpatine page:

In the Death Star, high above the Battle of Endor, Luke refused the Emperor's newfound dark side power, and so Palpatine used his deadly Force lightning to attack the young Jedi.

Dracula (2006)

Hi! I wanted to thank you so much for adding those gorgeous screenshots from the BBC newest version of Dracula (2006). But I have a question. When I upload screenshots on Wikipedia, there is a note in the menu saying "Only one per article." I realize that there are several different articles (at least) that have more screenshots than this, but is there a specific policy do you know? Thanks in advance! Dracula

Hello! I see that you are Irish, some of my family lives there. My ancestors came to america from there and one of my cousins has the original papers saying who was on the ship. Anyways, You seem to know a lot about Dracula and I had a question about him.

How does Dracula make women his brides? It seems like he just bites their neck, but that is what he does to all of his victims. Any ideas?

Hi Codenamecuckoo,

I'm sorry to barrage you with so many notices at once, but I noticed the number of notifications on your talk page and decided a trip through your upload log is probably a good idea. I think you might benefit from a read through the guidelines for non-free content on Wikipedia, as a large number of the non-free images you've uploaded seem to be missing fair use rationales as required by the non-free media policy. Keep in mind that a fair use rationale is required for each article a given image is used in--you can't just fill out one and be done with it.
