March 2018 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Reverse racism, did not appear constructive and have been or will be reverted. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. please discuss on the articles talk page EvergreenFir (talk) 04:56, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Reverse racism shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

NOTE: the above comment is misconstrued. I just added mostly quoted text from mainstream news sources such as the New York Times and this editor deleted wholesale claiming that it is withing their purview to ascribe impermissible POV to an editor, rather than to the text or source material which is the subject of the article.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.   Hello. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Codebook44 reported by User:EvergreenFir (Result: ). Thank you. EvergreenFir (talk) 05:45, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

(Undid revision 830705271 by Calton (talk) adding back newly drafted sections. Prior editor has deleted every single new addition to article on reverse racism including articles in the media about the topic of reverse racism. See: Wikipedia:Overzealous deletion)
You know, maybe you should check first, before automatically reaching for the revert button.--Calton | Talk 14:46, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • I've closed the ANEW report with a warning since you have self-reverted. Please do not edit war in the future, and note that you may be blocked for edit warring, even if you do not violate the 3RR. TonyBallioni (talk) 00:08, 17 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Talk pages edit

Greetings. Please place indented replies on talk pages on a line immediately below the preceding comment, or use colons (:) on the line between replies, in order to avoid accessibility problems for those using screen reader software, among others. This is explained at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility. Thank you. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 20:58, 17 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
