You could say that I am retired. I don't think I agree anymore with the purpose, the mission of Wikipedia, and with the way things are managed. That may surprise you, but I don't believe anymore that Wikipedia should be a thing.

I will edit when I see fit to remove or correct false information but I won't add anymore.

You are allowed to take everything that I have not yet published (meaning my three sandboxes [1] [2] [3]). Use the resources I left on this page.

A Barnstar for You! edit

The France Barnstar of National Merit
Thanks for all the good work on all the military related pages, and now cabinets. Skjoldbro (talk) 09:53, 20 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
Suggestions

One a more "selfish" note, have you considered getting around to List of Naval Ministers of France? I could do some of the layout, but I feel it might be a moot point without the sources, and my French skills aren't exactly suited to go through 300 year-old official documents  . Also may I suggest that you use the Cabinet table for the cabinet pages? It basically does the same as the one you currently use, it is however more widely use and is easy to use, while still allowing for the top part you use. Just a thought. Skjoldbro (talk) 09:53, 20 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Skjoldbro: Wow, thank you very much for the barnstar ! :) I will definitely go to the Naval Ministers soon, with France in full lockdown I have plenty of time ! I just try to alternate articles (I am on the 1871 elections right now) so I do not get bored. I have the next cabinet almost ready too. Oh yes definitely I will use it now, it seems a little bit more convenient, even if I'm used to wikitables. Give me a little bit of time to change it on the articles I already made. Thanks again ! CocoricoPolynesien (talk) 10:48, 20 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
Well in fact I have a hard time with the template. So I will continue creating with my wikitable, I'm more efficient with it. But if you want to change it with a template that keeps the same look and is not deforming the page on smartphone, no prob. CocoricoPolynesien (talk) 14:48, 20 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
Your welcome. Yeah, same here. It is important to keep busy with something and change it up enough as not to go crazy. Oh, that is too bad. I will try with one of the pages at some point today, then we can discuss the outcome. Skjoldbro (talk) 11:01, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hi, that would be great in fact, if you could do one I could try to reproduce it with the next articles ! :) CocoricoPolynesien (talk) 11:17, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
So, I just had a look at it, and I can understand why you couldn't get it to work. With these kinds of tables there need to be "Shortname" templates, which connects the name with the page. Which in it of itself is not too difficult, I made one for the Opportunist Republicans, you can have a look and change the name if you want. The same thing goes for the party colours for the Centre-right and left. I did a test on Cabinet Dufaure II. It currently is just a completely standard layout, but your wikitable layout also works now. However, I am not sure that every political party in France has a shortname template, but like I said they are not too hard to make. What do you think? Skjoldbro (talk) 13:27, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Skjoldbro: Well I think that's great ! I still don't fully understand the whole thing with the parties templates, but if I look into it I'm sure I will get used to it. My sole observation is that I think it looks better if it's 100% the page so it's adaptative. Do you think that would be possible ? CocoricoPolynesien (talk) 13:55, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I get that, but with a bit of practice it should be a piece of cake. As far a I can tell, I don't think it is possible to make it 100%. But if you change to your wikitable top, it does. I have tried to make the change at Dufaure II. If we want both name and party color under the NAME title, then the party color box becomes a bit larger. Have a try with some editing and see if you find other ways more agreable. Skjoldbro (talk) 14:30, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Skjoldbro: I changed to get the Name column with colspan=2 to have both the name and the party color together. Don't you think it is better if parties colors and parties names are in the same column ? Otherwise that seems good for me ! CocoricoPolynesien (talk) 14:54, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
I thought it was a bit too big, but honestly it isn't that big of a deal, and having it under one does column does makes sense. So I see no problem with it. It all looks good to me too! I will help implement the table to the other ones that you have already made, if you want. Skjoldbro (talk) 15:03, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Skjoldbro: Alright If you have the time, thank you very much ! I will use it now. ;) CocoricoPolynesien (talk) 15:12, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
