Although you keep putting links into the "References" section, what you are adding are just "External links", not "References"

Speedy deletion nomination of Libido Blume edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello. A tag has been placed on Libido Blume requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —C.Fred (talk) 17:44, 5 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

About the Libido Blume publicity photo edit

Is it your work, or is it a publicity photo of the band? Either you have a conflict of interest with the band or the image is improperly licensed. —C.Fred (talk) 20:38, 5 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

@C.Fred: as I have explained before, we are but a small circle of people involved in the Greek underground scene and the chronicling thereof, we do know each other and although there is no actual conflict of interest, since i am not editing and publishing for or in conjunction with any band members or persons involved, i have contacted several members of bands in order to obtain digital material such as pictures and information in order to verify facts, just like any music historian would. This particular photograph is owned by the band and I was allowed to credit it as my own work in order to upload it to wikimedia commons for the purposes of properly enriching the content of the article. If there is regulatory conflict with this practice, I will promptly correct licensing as needed. Thank you.

CocoMusic (talk) 07:30, 6 September 2016 (UTC)CocoMusicReply

Yes, there is. It is not your own work, so that is an inappropriate description of the authorship. Further, somebody from the band would need to contact Wikimedia Commons and confirm that the photograph has been made available under a free license. —C.Fred (talk) 19:38, 6 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
@C.Fred: Sure, is it ok if I copy their response here along with an email address for further communication?

CocoMusic (talk) 02:42, 8 September 2016 (UTC)CocoMusicReply

No, that's not sufficient. They need to initiate the contact with Commons. —C.Fred (talk) 02:46, 8 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

C.Fred

Which section should they address? Which email address?? Thanks. -

CocoMusic (talk) 12:23, 9 September 2016 (UTC)CocoMusicReply

I'm not sure off the top of my head. I suggest you ask for assistance at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Upload_help; they'll be more familiar with the verification procedures there. —C.Fred (talk) 12:32, 9 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
