Question

edit

{{helpme}} hi, I am very new to this and wondered if you can be very specific about how I can prevent this article from being deleted. What sort of things can I do to make it more notable? javascript:insertTags('Cockerpants (talk) 17:04, 15 April 2010 (UTC)',,)Reply

Well, there's not really much you can do, the article's subject just has to be more famous and therefore more notable. Chevymontecarlo. 17:13, 15 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
To be honest, it looks to be a dictionary definition of a neologism, lacking significant coverage in reliable sources - as you said yourself, "use of the word is not widely referenced" - thus, it probably is not appropriate for Wikipedia.
You are quite welcome to participate in the discussions in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Giggleberries but, frankly, I think it won't meet the requirements for an article. Sorry about that.
For more help, you can either;
  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.
The last of those is particularly useful - please try it; pop in now and say hello.  Chzz  ►  17:40, 15 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Giggleberries

edit

I have nominated Giggleberries, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Giggleberries. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
