Hello, that block is indeed very wide, but as you just handily demonstrated on my talk page, you can edit fine while logged in. Editing logged-in is much better anyway; as we like to say here, "Trying to make serious edits to Wikipedia as an IP editor is like blindly blundering through the countryside on the first day of hunting season dressed like a moose".
