  • Script should download ISO4217.txt automatically, or at least check for changes
  • Error recovery, retry on failure
  • Automatic update of the template
  • Possibly rewrite in PHP or some other server-side code

Feature Request edit

  • When your script runs, could you have it also update a simple template, possibly Template:ToUSDDate with the date it was updated? This way users of ToUSD can say, "2,000,000 Yen (about {{ToUSD|2000000|JPY}} as of {{ToUSDDate}})." — Alan De Smet | Talk 02:17, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • When your script runs, could it generate a simple table of the currency codes and the longer names, and dump it into the <noinclude> section of Template:ToUSDvalues? It would looking up what codes are supported easier; currently you need to edit the page to see the list. — Alan De Smet | Talk 02:25, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Great if you have a template to automatically convert currencies edit

Hi, if you're working on a template that automatically converts money from one currency to another, GREAT! I'm an American (NJ). But I was working on an article about New Zealand. I was talking with editors there how cool it would be if I could put in a money total, such as the average GDP of New Zealanders is $42,000 (NZ$). And have some kind of button next to it, so a user could click it and instantly see $24,000 (US$). Are you working on something similar? That would be so cool if you are developing such a tool. If it's ready, I'd like to put it in my articles! Tomwsulcer (talk) 02:29, 16 August 2009 (UTC)tomwsulcerReply

User page help sought edit

This is to Cmsjustin...hope you can help this wiki user with formatting his user page correctly. He admits that he has no clear idea how to do it himself, as he does not use wiki that often.
Your user page is very expertly formatted by comparison with his.

You are thanked in advance.

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Reign (video game) edit

The article Reign (video game) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article topic lacks significant coverage from reliable, independent sources. (?) It had no meaningful hits in a video game reliable sources custom Google search. There are no worthwhile redirect targets.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. czar 06:25, 25 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
