Speedy deletion nomination of Robert Pedigo

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Robert Pedigo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Links to dated photos? This sounds like WP:Original research. Are you Robert Pedigo, and are you saying you participated in the creation of these characters? This is not an appropriate addition to Wikipedia unless there are reliable sources supporting your claim.— TAnthonyTalk 18:52, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
OK, your comments at Talk:Robert Pedigo#Contested deletion seem to support my assumption, I will copy them here in case the talk page is speedily deleted with Robert Pedigo:

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --Clumbseyninja (talk) 17:49, 13 July 2016 (UTC) Because I have the original drawings of kylo ren and BB-8 with time and date stamped uploads to bad robot and multiple art websites from the work I did with JJ Abrams in 2001-4..they have also been saved in 2007 an 08. I signed contracts and worked with bad robot and lucusfilm. All you have to do is search BB-8 napkin sketch into google and you'll see the famous napkin sketch and see that it's the oldest one in existence and linked to me.

Mr. Pedigo, you may or may not have a legal claim or case against Abrams etc. but at this point that's the concern of you and your lawyer, not Wikipedia. The type of "evidence" you describe does not meet the criteria of reliable sources required at WP to the extent that you wish to add yourself as a co-creator of these copyrighted characters in related Wikipedia articles.— TAnthonyTalk 19:04, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
