Why it got deleted

The page Montezooma's Revenge wasn't made with an authorized account. So therefore it cannot stand. 2605:E000:3D5D:5100:DDB5:F7E1:F5A:AC2E (talk) 20:27, 2 September 2017 (UTC)2605:e000:3d5d:5100:ddb5:f7e1:f5a:ac2e

An account not "authorized" by whom, exactly? General Ization Talk 20:29, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
@General Ization:: This IP is trolling. -★- PlyrStar93. Message me. 🖉 21:34, 3 September 2017 (UTC)

It was created by a Robot. His account has since been deleted therefore the page needs to be deleted. 2605:E000:3D5D:5100:DDB5:F7E1:F5A:AC2E (talk) 21:32, 3 September 2017 (UTC)2605:e000:3d5d:5100:ddb5:f7e1:f5a:ac2e

Really! What a crappy, unimaginative article-creating robot to have created such a short, boring article in 2005. But robots weren't so advanced back then. According to the records, it was, however, an authorized article-creating robot and hasn't been deleted, so don't delete the article. General Ization Talk 21:42, 3 September 2017 (UTC)

Okay. I apologize. I thought robots weren't allowed to create pages. I saw that the Hangtime page was deleted because it was created by a robot or as the user claimed "an unauthorized edit". Thank you for your time 2605:E000:3D5D:5100:DDB5:F7E1:F5A:AC2E (talk) 21:46, 3 September 2017 (UTC)(UTC)2605:e000:3d5d:5100:ddb5:f7e1:f5a:ac2e

The key is "as the user claimed" (referring to the IP's comment). Don't believe everything you read (in Wikipedia edit summaries, or anywhere else), and definitely don't go around removing the contents of articles just because you see someone else doing it. I have an idea for Cluebot NG.

This is a suggestion to help prevent repeated vandalism, basically, if Cluebot NG reverts vandalism, and then the vandal re-adds the vandalism, and then an administrator reverts that vandalism, Cluebot NG would prevent identical text from showing up in the article for 1 day by auto-reverting it. Terrariola 08:54, 28 August 2017 (UTC)

@Terrariola: The reason SineBot signed your comment in this edit was because your signature didn't contain a link to your userpage or your user talk page. See WP:SIGLINK. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 11:25, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
As for your suggestion, the problem with that is that it can easily be exploited to help administrators edit war. It's also unnecessary, since if an administrator is on scene, and there is repeated vandalism, the user can either be blocked or the page protected. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 11:28, 28 August 2017 (UTC)

But this would also help prevent sockpuppets? And protecting a page because of vandalism on it for a day seems a bit overkill. Terrariola 12:48, 28 August 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, I think that would be overkill, since vandalism happens to articles all the time. By the way, does Cluebot "lock in" things like birthdays for vandalism, since those things rarely change. I once saw an article with someone's birth date listed in 2018. Neilc314 (talk) 04:35, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

Archiving only threads marked as resolved?

I want to archive all threads on my talk page that have been marked as {{Resolved}}, but only those, i. e. threads not marked that way should stay "forever". What value would I need to use for the parameter age to achieve that? --Tim Landscheidt (talk) 03:15, 7 September 2017 (UTC)

@Tim.landscheidt: I usually use {{DNAU}}. But what you are looking for is other way around. Or you could input a really huge number for age, and use {{archive now}} instead of "resolved". —usernamekiran(talk) 01:35, 8 September 2017 (UTC)

An award for you:)

Stop your mistakes

How I vandalizing when it's well sourced, check before you give warnings. I'm going to report you if you keep doing these same accusations. You have no reason to accuse of vandalism other than your own mistakes again and again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WuyueDNApeople (talkcontribs) 19:17, 13 September 2017 (UTC)

@WuyueDNApeople: Please read the messages at the top of this page. ClueBot NG is a robot and not a human. To report errors made by the bot, go to this page; do not complain on this talk page. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 20:05, 13 September 2017 (UTC)

Aren't bot to new project

Dear owners, please consider requesting a BotFlag on Central Kurdish Wikipedia (CKB) for ClueBot through this page. Cooperation is appreciated.--◂ ‎épine talk 03:42, 30 September 2017 (UTC)

ClueBot wasn't designed to run on other language Wikipedias. A lot more work needs to be done to make the bot work correctly on another wiki than just giving it a bot flag there. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 13:45, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
