I don't know what context you are refering that Delahaye should be mentioned, however I feel he is as an important a person in Rimbaud's life as Verlaine or Izambard. Many poems, i.e. 'Les Stupra,' were passed on by Delahaye from either memorising or copies Rimbaud had sent him.

According to Schmidt, Delahaye is the main source of information on his childhood, though I haven't found anything for it to be based off of. And of course there are the letters, to him from Rimbaud, and between Delahaye and Verlaine about Rimbaud.
