Proofs

edit

It is generally considered inappropriate to add a proof to a mathematical article unless the proof, itself has particular significance, and it's published in a reliable source. Perhaps your additions would fit better in WikiBooks or Wikiversity. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 17:30, 11 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

R: Ok. Thanks for your remark. I didn't knew that maybe because I'm new in editing Wikipedia :content. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cktx (talkcontribs) 17:48, October 11, 2014‎

No problem. After a little research, I found the guideline at MOS:MATH#Proofs. There are a lot of editing (and conduct) guidelines on Wikipedia. Let me add one of the welcome templates, but, please do not hesitate to ask questions. You can ask questions on my talk page (which I see you found) or by mentioning me (as User:Arthur Rubin, {{u|Arthur Rubin}}, or {{ping|Arthur Rubin}}) in a signed message on any discussion page. The welcome template I added below hasn't been edited to note that users can be contacted through the notification system (WP:ECHO), as well on their talk page. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 18:13, 11 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
