Speedy deletion nomination of User:Civilian Officer

Why do you want to delete my User page? It is not for hosting, I am making minor corrections to articles using newspaper references. Civilian Officer (talk) 14:42, 17 July 2024 (UTC)

Contested deletion

This page should not be speedily deleted because it is a normal editor account, the Civilian Officer is a new Wikipedia editor and is not trying to host a website or personal information. The suggested protocol suggested by Wikipedia is to write something on the User Page. If this is an error then the administrator requesting speedy deletion should be able to justify, I see many very elaborate Wikipedia User pages not unlike my own which did not have any external links. --Civilian Officer (talk) 14:30, 17 July 2024 (UTC)

Your content on your User page was Speedy deleted by two different Administrators. You can ask on their Talk pages what was not appropriate. In general, the guide for User pages is WP:UP. User pages do not have references nor external links. Your sentence "I am making minor corrections to articles using newspaper references." does not make sense.
