Sorry edit

Hi, just letting you know that this is an IP address belonging to a local school network and is shared by hundreds of users. Sorry in advance for anyone that gets unruly and vandalizes. Cheers 209.34.56.16 (talk) 18:01, 16 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you - could you tell me the name of the organization so that I can leave a notification template on your talk page for others? CivilianArthur (talk) 18:27, 16 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
What do you mean? Iperpay (talk) 17:46, 3 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Inappropriate edit

I’m concerned by you saying vandalism when it’s truth! RandomDogs420 (talk) 20:24, 18 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi RandomDogs420. Unfortunately your edits to Lady A were not constructive due to two reasons. 1: In-article citations demonstrated that Lady A is not currently known as Lady Antebellum. 2: Your claims of theft were uncited. This is problematic because not only does Wikipedia require sources, especially for controversial claims, but also (because it is an article concerning living persons) those claims may or may not constitute defamation. I hope this clears things up! CivilianArthur (talk) 20:34, 18 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

There is multiple documents of theft! Are you a member of this band? RandomDogs420 (talk) 03:13, 8 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for leaving a message on my talk page :) Unfortunately your edits to New Zealand Government are both controversial and unsourced. As such, an encyclopedia like Wikipedia is not the place for such edits. CivilianArthur (talk) 21:18, 3 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sorry edit

I requested page protection at Emory Tate without noticing that you had already requested the same. Hopefully deletion can now be looked at dispassionately without the Reddit brigade. Phil Bridger (talk) 15:24, 23 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ah, don't sweat it we were both working toward the same goal. I agree - it's a discussion worth having, but not in the way it was originally being done. CivilianArthur (talk) 15:26, 23 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for September 17 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jeffersonville, Indiana, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Frontier war. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

WikiProject Louisville Newsletter (April 2024)
Believe it or not, WikiProject Louisville is still in operation after nearly 18 years, and we're in the Top 40 most active projects.

Recent Project Happenings

  • Since fall of last year, the project has undergone a major revamp. All pages of the project have been redesigned and largely rewritten. Of special note to members is that we're now listed participants. It's a slightly different mode of operation that WikiProjects have been gradually moving toward – instead of being like a club, we're an action center! Check out our Participation & outreach page for more details.
  • We have over 6,800 articles included in the project and over 21,000 pages (including talk pages) overall.

Derby 150 Edit-a-thon, Anyone?

Your input is welcomed on having an edit-a-thon to commemorate the 150th Kentucky Derby. It would take place during the Kentucky Derby Festival.

Did You Know

  • WikiProject Louisville now has its own barnstar you may hand out to any editor doing significant work in Louisville area-related articles?
  • We now have a way to look up tagged issues in our articles over a decade old?
