Why not just add {{fact}} in your regular account instead of making a new one just for that? BsroiaadnTalk 18:18, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ahhhh, I see. Your username led me to believe that you made a new account for it for some reason. Well, thanks for those edits. I like the image on your user page, by the way. Haha. BsroiaadnTalk 16:16, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced tag

edit

I suggest not doing it in each section, as it looks terrible. Put it at the top, there's a template that says "article or section" for that reason, I'd say. - BalthCat 15:34, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the word "prog" on Pangram

edit

I think that "prog" is being used in this case as an abbreviation for prognosis, as evidenced by the wikilink there. Is that considered a legitimate abbreviation, like "vex'd" (for vexed) is? GlobeGores (talk | contribs) 02:17, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

University of Maryland is a Public Ivy

edit

Hi Cite needed, I've added an additional reference to the claim that Maryland is a Public Ivy. This is actually a very specific statement, stating that Maryland was one of 30 universities listed in this book: Greenes' Guides: The Public Ivies. Richard Moll supposedly coined the term in 1985 (I find that hard to believe, and if you can find some other info contradicting that, please add it to Public Ivy, I wasn't able to find any). I see that you also edited Public Ivy in the past, so perhaps you already knew that. Jussen (talk) 16:30, 14 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

(Removed vandalism warning template added by ElKevbo, whose first reflex apparently is to treat those with whom he disagrees as vandals.) Cite needed (talk) 06:10, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
